SmartEdTech is the name of a solution offering from SpedK12, Inc. In this policy we refer to our mobile learning platform, content and services as “SmartEdTech” and to the SpedK12, Inc.entity as “Company”, “our” or “we.”

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit (the “Company Site”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information. The Company Site is intended for a general audience. Although we may permit authorized users to access the SmartEdTech mobile learning platform through links provided on the Company Site, access to and use of SmartEdTech is governed by separate agreements with customers and authorized SmartEdTech users, including our SmartEdTech Platform Privacy Policy and our Platform Acceptable Use Policy. In addition, this policy does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means or by any third party, including through application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Company Site.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Company Site. By accessing or using the Company Site, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of the Company Site after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.


The Company Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age or for use in connection with student education records. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or information that may comprise student education records, through the Company Site. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the Company Site or on or through any of its features. In addition, regardless of age, you should never provide student personally identifiable information on or through the Company Site. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent we will delete that information.

  • We collect this information directly from you when you provide it to us by filling in forms on the Company Site, such as requests for marketing or other information.

While the Company Site does not present third-party advertising, some content or applications on the Company Site are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers and application providers. These third parties may use cookies, alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies, to collect information about you when you use the Company Site. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services.
